She was predeceased by: her parents, C. E. Wiser (Betty Elizabeth Wiser) and Taylor; her husband William W. Nelson; and her siblings, Mollie, Bessie, Margaret, Nancy, Walter, George and Raymond.
She is survived by: her sons, William R. Nelson (Karen) of Warrenton and Robert E. Nelson of Jeffersonton, Virginia.; and her grandchildren, Josh Henry (Megan) of Woodstock and Vanessa Wallace (Paul) of Lady Smith. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, along with numerous nephews and nieces.
