He is survived by: his parents, Margaret Babonis of Virginia Beach, VA and Frankland Babonis of Elizabeth City, NC; his brother Kevin Babonis of San Diego, CA; his brother-in-law Johnny Joyner; and his nieces and nephews, Makenzie Babonis of Elizabeth City, NC, Kiele, Emrie Scott, Ethan and Cooper Babonis of Virginia Beach, VA.. He is also survived by his family, friends.
His career was marked by significant contributions to various cities and military installations, including NAS Oceana Naval Shipyard Portsmouth, Naval Hospital Portsmouth, and Langley Air Force Base, among others Old Dominion University and College of William & Mary.
