He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Stanley Thoburn and Pearl Thoburn; his former wife Clare Thoburn; and his granddaughter Emily Haley. He is survived by: his wife Faye Dyer-Thoburn; his daughters, Joyce Hicks, Janet Tortora, Ruth Haley and Hope Davis; his children-in-law, Dyrell Hicks, Mike Tortora, Bill Haley and Chuck Davis; his grandchildren, Stephen Hicks (Lydia Archangelo), Angela Tortora, Kimberly Williams (Samuel Williams), Rachel Priester (Carlton Priester, Jr.), Kelly Norris (Scott Norris), Renee Davis, John Hicks (Lydia Hicks), Matthew Hicks, Marisa Tortora Hu (Eli Hu) and Courtney Roxas (Emmanuel Roxas); his great grandchildren, Josiah Williams, David Williams, Kyle Davis, Serena Williams, Elise Hicks, Abigail Hicks, Emmanuel Roxas and Righter Norris; and his siblings, Marguerite Watkins, Dr. Theodore Thoburn and Elizabeth Sheather.
