He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie L. Hackworth and Mabel K. Hackworth; and his brothers, Ed (Heidi) of Hampton and Robert (Frances) of Forest. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Kenney Hackworth (Michele) and Karen Coffin (Chad); his grandchildren, Emma Hackworth and Charlie Coffin; his sister Kay Arthur (Wayne) of Forest; and his siblings-in-law, Heidi, Frances and Ron Vaughn of Oak Island, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
