It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Gail Dozier Meeks of Virginia Beach, Virginia, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on October 15, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dozier and Agnes Dozier; her husband Edgar Meeks; and her brother George W. Dozier, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Tracy Franklin (Quintus) of Natick, MA and Terence M. Meeks of Bristow, VA; her grandson Christopher Franklin (CJ); her nieces, Alison McNabb (Michael) of Chesapeake, VA and Pam Kotzin (Michael) of Irvine, CA; and her caregiver Shirvonne Cobb-Collins. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
