He is survived by: his wife Bette Estes; his sons, James "Ed" Estes (Caroline Taylor) and David W Estes (Meg Estes); his grandchildren, Adam Howell, Cadie Estes Hammond, Melissa Estes, David Estes and Hannah Estes; and his great grandchildren, Carter Taylor and Charlie James Hammond.
