It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald B. Kent of Victoria, Virginia, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Father Reginald Herbert Kent, Sr. and Eleanor Catherine Jennings Kent; his brothers, Theodore McFarland Kent and William Ambrose Kent; and also Robert F. Hagans, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Susan Batadlan; his daughter Jamila Lynnor Kent; his brother Reginald Herbert Kent, Jr.; his aunt Janie; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Burris Kent. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, other cousins and friends.
