He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis E. Williams and Grace Parrish Williams; his sister Elizabeth W. Gallion; and his nephew Charles Vincent Callis. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth C. "Betty" Williams; his children, L. E. Williams, III (Courtney), Todd V. Williams (Amy) and Hope W. Scott (Michael); his brothers-in-law, Charles Callis and Reggie Callis (Louise); his nieces, Kim Wilkerson (Rick) and Sallie Gigliotti (Anthony); and his nephew Jay Callis (Chrissy). He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and many friends.
