She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Porter Garrison and John Marion Garrison; and her brother John McHenry Garrison MD. She is survived by: her children, Margaret O. Wagner-Diggs (Michael I.) of Toano and James H. Overton, Jr. of Newport News. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
