She was predeceased by: her parents, Gobel Hamilton and Hattie Hamilton; her former husband Ed Lowe; her husband Lloyd Sargent, Sr.; her siblings, Pauline Cantrell, Juanita Addair, Orpha Hatfield, Rebecca Hatfield, Benny Hamilton and Billy Hamilton; her grandsons, Chris O'Quinn and Lloyd Sargent, III; her great grandchild Aspen Paige; her stepdaughter Sharon Lofton; her daughter-in-law Rita Sargent; and her close friend Scrappy.
She is survived by: her children, Vivian Whitter (Mike), Debbie O'Quinn (Leon), Tommy Lowe (Glenna), Billy Lowe (Linda), Lloyd Sargent, Jr. and Jeff Sargent (Theresa); her sisters, Betty Jo Rippeth and Marietta Clark; her niece Jeannie Lowe Church; and her daughter Sarah Sheets. She is also survived by twenty one grandchildren, forty five great grandchildren; and fourteen great great grandchildren.
