He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee "Cute" Heldreth, Jr. and Alma Oneca Duncan Heldreth; his sister Peggy Lane Heldreth Neel; and his nephew Phillip Montgomery "Monnie" Heldreth. He is survived by: his brother David Todd Heldreth, Sr. (Carolyn Lee Johnson); his brother-in-law Joe Kelly Neel of Sunset Beach; and his nieces and nephews, Kelly Lee Heldreth, Jenna Lee Neel Wieneke, Dr. Judson "Jud" Lane Heldreth and Dr. David Todd Heldreth, Jr.. He is also survived by fourteen grand-nephews / grand-nieces; twelve great-grand-nephews / great-grand-nieces.
