She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Andrew Banks and Martha Cecil Banks of Tazewell, VA.; and her siblings, Letisha Banks, Virginia Gibbs, Bettye Lockett, Mary Davis, Rosa Thomas, Cary, Alvin, Richard and Charles Banks (C. H.).
She is survived by: her sister Margaret "Libby" Walker; her husband Samuel F. Watkins, Jr.; her sons, Michael "Mike" Watkins of Tazewell, VA and Edward "Ed" Watkins (Angila) of Columbus, OH; her siblings, Hilda Anthony (Calvin) of Charlotte, NC and William "Bill" Banks of Columbus, OH; her niece Regina "Jeanie" Banks of Charlotte, NC; and her sibling Gail Churchwell of Bluefield, WV.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
