She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter George and Very Lee Vencil Peery; her husband Stewart A. "Pood" Elswick; her son-in-law Roger White; and her siblings, Margaret Ellen "Beck" Howery, Nannie White, Beulah Lockhart, Glenn Peery, George Peery and Clarence "Flea" Peery.
She is survived by: her daughter Marie White of Tazewell, VA; her grandchildren, Rebekah Marie Ritter of Bluefield, VA and Jim White (Dena) of Tazewell, VA; her great grandchildren, Jill Marie Parker (Skylar) of Brandon, MS, Joni Lee Strange (Michael) of Cameron, NC and Aaron Pena of Surprise, AZ; her great great grandchildren, Brody of Brandon, MS, Bowen of Brandon, MS and Brynnlee Joy Marie Parker of Brandon, MS; and her grandson-in-law David Ritter of Springville, VA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
