He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luther Edward and Ora Ellen Rudd Neel; his son Gary Wayne Neel; his siblings, Mary Ann Neel, Geraldine Neel, Yvonne McCoy, Roger Neel and Ronnie Neel; his great grandchild Aspyn; his wife Alice Faye Neel; his children, Theresa Lynn Sargent (Jeff) of Tazewell, VA, Debra Ellen Meadows (Ronnie) of North Tazewell, VA, Jenny Rebbecca Whittaker (Ed) of Princeton, WV and Wesley Thomas Neel (Stephanie) of Anderson Creek, NC; his siblings, Delorse Smith of North Tazewell, VA, Wanda Downing (James) of Amelia, VA, Dallas Neel of Lynchburg, VA and Jerry Neel (Sandra) of Hartsville, SC; and his grandchildren, Donnie Lee Wayne Neel, James Coty Neel, Cara Mae Neel, Elizabeth Sargent Crawford, Trevor, Aaron, Mason Sargent, Joshua, Stephanie, Lindsey Ferguson, Bailey, Katie Neel and Abigail Meadows. He was also cherished by thirteen great-grandchildren and one on the way in March, 2019; several nieces; nephews; other family members and friends.
