She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Wood, Sr. and Ida Brown Wood; her former husband Willie Reese Lowe, Sr.; her husband Carlton Lowe; her daughter Angelia Sue Adkins; and her siblings, Archie Wood and Marie Pettie.
She is survived by: her children, Willie Reese Lowe, Jr. (Christa) of Bluefield, VA, Robert Lowe (Rosie) of Thompson Valley, VA, Chris Lowe (Stephanie) of Bluefield, VA and Brandy Gabrielse (David Webster) of Oklahoma City, OK; her sister Shirley Puckett of Salem, VA; her stepchildren, David Lowe (Beth) of North Carolina, Darryl Lowe of Lebanon, VA and Rita Eads (Kevin) of Richlands, VA; and her caregivers, Teresa, Amanda, Tangie, Chad and Tammy. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; four step grandchildren; one step great grandchild; a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be directed to Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Youth, 760 Beartown Rd, Tazewell, VA 24651.
