Betty Jane Sage Phipps Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jane Sage Phipps of Tazewell, Virginia, who passed away on February 13, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillie Mae Sage and Dwight Burress of Fries, VA.; her husband Silas S. Phipps; her daughter Wilma Millirons; and her daughter-in-law Donnie "Huch" Phipps.
She is survived by: her children, Irene Mullins (Terry Mullins) of Tazewell, VA, Wanda Gray (Denver Gray) of Seymour, IN and Thomas R. Phipps; and her grandchildren, Dr. Terene Mullins Stiltner, Connie Millirons Byrd, Janet Millirons, Denny Gray and Kenneth Gray. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
