He was predeceased by: his parents, Gobel Hamilton and Hattie Hamilton of Tazewell, VA; his wife Louise Laxton Hamilton; his daughter Iris Gale Hamilton; his great great grandchild Brentley Hale; and his siblings, Billy Hamilton, Pauline Cantrell, Rebecca Hatfield, Gaye Hatfield and Juanita Addair.
He is survived by: his children, Ernie (Diane Hamilton) of Benson, NC, Dale Hamilton of Bradshaw, Benjamin Jr. (Mary Hamilton) of Atwell, WV, Randy (Sissy Hamilton) of Bristol, Kenny Hamilton (Barbara) of Atwell, WV, Connie Lowe (Franklin) of Atwell, WV and Jennifer Adkins (Hobert Jr.) of Raysal, WV.; and his sisters, Ruth Sargent of Tazewell, VA, Betty Rippeth of Tazewell, VA and Marietta Clark of Lebanon, VA.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family request in lieu of flowers donations be made, in Bennie Hamilton's honor, to Hospice Compassus in Welch/Princeton WV so that other families can have the kindness and guidance shown to him and his family.
