It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alexander Marks of Tazewell, Virginia, born in Sussex, Virginia, who passed away on January 3, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Willie Lee Marks; his sons, Charles Meade and Andre Hudson; his brothers, Clarence Marks and Willie "Boonie" Marks; his uncles, Clarence Boisseau and Ernest White; his aunt Hattie Hall; and his grandmothers, Bertha Boisseau and Mattie Marks.
He is survived by: his mother Sue Hall Marks of McKenney, VA; his wife Barbara Jean Carter Marks of Tazewell, VA; his daughters, Sherita Hudson and Latesha Brown; his stepchildren, Robert and Ashley Carter; his brothers, Lewis Hall (Ruth), Linwood Fisher, Lewis Lambert and Larry Lambert; his mother-in-law Dorothy James; his brother-in-law Calvin Carter (Kendra); his grandchildren, Damarrie Stokes, Desiree Meade, ZarQuasia Hicks, Quanasia Hicks and ZiYontae Hudson; his great grandchild DeAndre Tatum, Jr.; and his aunts and uncles, Nancy Jones, Audrey Hall, Emma Meade, Mary Frazier, Joan Howard, Carrie Boisseau, Joe Boisseau and Willie White. He is also survived by cousins, relatives, and friends.
