She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Susie Hemric Royall and John Tyre Royall, Sr.; her brother John Tyre "J. T."; her wife Alice of Jacksonville, FL; her sister-in-law Sandra Atkins of Dobson; her children, Andy Atkins (Tracy) of Dobson and Annessa Beaman (David) of New Bern; her grandchildren, Samantha Atkins, Lydia Atkins, Daniel Atkins, Abigail Beaman, Joshua Beaman and Tabitha Beaman; and her brother-in-law James Houston "Jay" Atkins.
