He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Amos and Mary Fulp Sechrist; and his sisters, Louise Easter and Mary Hiatt. He is survived by: his wife Janie Butcher Sechrist; his children, Janet Brendle and Frankie Sechrist; his granddaughters, Samantha Snow and Kayla Gunter; and his siblings, Katherine McMillian, Jesse, Luther Ray and Dennis Sechrist. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
