He is survived by: his wife Barbara Edmond Simmons; his son Dennis Simmons; his daughter-in-law Suzette Simmons; his grandchildren, Brandon, Claire Simmons, Tiffany, D. J. Easter and Brittany Gilley; his great grandchildren, Tobin, Landree, Taegan, Raelynn and Paxton; his sister Helen Davis; and his brother-in-law Ronnie Davis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
