She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Q. George and Blanche Nichols George; and her husband Kenneth Wayne Stanley. She is survived by: her children, Michele Rene Stanley of Red Brush and Kenneth Joelle Stanley of Red Brush.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd., Dobson, NC 27017.
