It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward M. Goodman Sr. (Suffolk, Virginia), who passed away on December 28, 2023, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Edward B. Reid; his grandparents, Joe, Leena Reid, Chester and Margret Goodman; his brother Gregory Goodman; and his godparents, Lillian P. Goodman and Howard Hayes.
He is survived by: his sons, Edward Michael Goodman, Jr. and Deshawn Holly of Suffolk, Virginia.; his mother Mary Goodman of Emporia, VA; his sister-in-law Donna Goodman of Virginia Beach; his aunts, Shirley Jones (Clifton) and Brenda Jones (Riley) of Suffolk, VA; his uncle Vernon Goodman (Yvonne) of Hampton, VA; his granddaughters, Michelle Goodman of Chesapeake and Nova Goodman of Hampton, VA; his former wife Theresa Goodman; and his friends, Travis Godwin, Charotte McDonald, Michelle, Terri and Betty. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives.
