We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2024, at the age of 89, Annie Saunders of Suffolk, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburn Wilson and Johnnie Etta Wilson (Jones); her husband James P. Saunders; her son Donald; and her grandson Michael Phillip Artis.

She is survived by: her children, Sandra, Michael, Ronald (Tonnette) and Aurelia; her grandchildren, Antione "Dude" Saunders, Michael "Mike-Mike" Cross of James, Nycolass Hinson, Amy Cross, Keona Powell (Donzell) and Aurelia "Ree-Ree" Saunders; and her sister-in-law Allene "Barbara" Black. She is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
