She was predeceased by: her parents, James Blain Smart and Belle Rakes Smart; and her siblings, Dorothy Dollarhite, Helen Light, Wavie Rakes and Gilmer Smart.
She is survived by: her husband Marvin Conner; her children, Sharon Mabe (Ronnie) of Lawsonville, NC and Michael Conner (Kim) of Stuart; and her grandchildren, Conner Mabe and Caroline Mabe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
