He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Ellett and Eldridge Ellett. He is survived by: his wife Viola Ellett; his children, Karen Gault of Columbia, SC, Monica Adams of Walterboro, SC, Robynn Linder of South Carolina and James Ellett Jr. of Miami, FL; and his stepson Shane Winslow. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
