It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Lewis Hockman of Strasburg, Virginia, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on August 6, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Baker and Anna Elizabeth Richard Hockman; his nephew Charles David Fridley; his niece Patricia Fleenor; and his great-niece Sarah Elizabeth Hardy.
He is survived by: his sisters, Frances Gaa of Toms Brook, VA and Mary Ann Boyd of Tennessee; his nieces, Robin Hardy of Moorefield, WV and Teresa See (William) of Moorefield, WV; and his cousin Everette Davidson. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
