He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James V. Gandy and Marvel Hobbs Gandy; his wife Judith Ann Scarbrough Gandy; his children, David C. Gandy and Janean R. Crown of Strasburg; his daughter-in-law Terry Gandy of Fredericksburg; his grandsons, David Gandy (Sylvia), Matthew Gandy (Sabrina), Michael Williams (Kelsey), Kenneth Williams (Ash), Jason Williams (Brianna) and Christopher Williams (Brooklyn); and his great grandchildren, Madison, Logan, Jacob and Raelyn. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
