He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Patterson and Madeline Frances Gutshall Marshall; and his brother-in-law Curtis Link. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Cash Marshall; his pets, Mugsy Jo and Mickey; and his siblings, Gail Link, Carol Jennings (William) and Terry Marshall (Kathy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Church (2000 Shutterlee Mill Rd, Staunton, VA 24401) designated to be used for the mortgage retirement.
