In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Bruce Lynwood had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Bruce Lynwood may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his grandsons, Andrew Marshall Mabry and Thomas Lynwood Mabry; and his sibling Thomas William Carter. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Lou Carter; his daughters, Helen Marie Carter-Shupe (Christopher) and Annette Carter-Mabry (Jed); his grandchildren, Tabbetha Marie Shupe, Evelynn Grace Mabry and Nathaniel Jude Mabry; and his brother George Dean Carter.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fort Trial Baptist Church (170 Oak Level Rd, Stanleytown, VA 24168). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at the Henry Memorial Park (8443 Virginia Ave, Bassett, VA 24055).
