He is survived by: his wife Lisa Parry Ratcliff of Staffordsville; his children, David Ratcliff (Rebecca) of Pembroke, VA., Sherry R. Brown (James) of Pembroke, VA., Sandra R. Van Nest (Greg) of Denville, NJ. and Michael Lucas (Stephanie) of Pembroke, VA.; his grandchildren, Mesa Ratcliff, Dayton Brown, Spencer Van Nest, Emma Brown, Zach Ratcliff, Sara Lucas (Nathan), Ellie Van Nest and Meredith Lucas; and his siblings, Elizabeth "Libby" Ratcliff Martin of Narrows, VA., Harriet Ratcliff Fletcher of Narrows, VA. and Walter (Jack). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
