With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lula Mae Stump of Staffordsville, Virginia, born in Pulaski, Virginia, who passed away on September 8, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Jackson and Myrtle Grace Robertson Largen; her husband James Roy Stump; her sons, Willard Vance Stump and James Wesley Stump; and her siblings, Walter Largen, Andrew Jackson Largen, Jr., Nannie Faye Bowes and Martha Bell Janney.
She is survived by: her daughter Martha; her son-in-law Roy Dalton; her adoptive son Gary Stump; and her brother William Largen. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Lula's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, stjude.org, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
