It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Park Dean Owens of Stafford, Virginia, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, W. M. Owens and Mae Miller Owens; his wife Shirley Barnhart Owens; and his brother Kenny Owens. He is survived by: his daughter Suzette Mutter (Carter) of Honaker, Virginia; his granddaughter Melissa McNulty (Makenzie); his great grandchildren, Shaynah McNulty and Tyler McNulty; his close friend Regina "Jean" Plaugher; his sister Clara Nell Parton; his sisters-in-law, Joy Owens, Mary Holley, Agnes Stoops, Thelma Barnhart, Donna Barnhart and Cathy Jones; and also, Teresa Neiderer, Sharon Buchs, Laura Proffitt, Michael Plaugher and Eric Plaugher. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
