With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dennis E. Springer of Stafford, Virginia, born in Louisville, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Springer and Ollie Springer; his former wife Carole Lucille Springer; and his sister Lavon Lee. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lynn Springer; and his children, Kathy Knoops, Karen Mills, Kay Bernado (James), Kevin Springer, Steven Springer, Christopher Springer, Vicki Turner (Keith), Susan Potter and Lindsey Shirley (Morgan). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

“Patricia and family, Denny was a great friend from our docent days at the Marine Corps Museum. Being Army at a Marine location always resulted in many comments. I was the Army Doggie. I truly liked and respected Denny for his many talents. I am sorry that I did not get to see him recently. Barbara and I recall a number of annual Docent dinners together on the Marine Corps birthday. We shared a table and looked back on our service days and being in Vietnam. Rest in peace Barbara & Frank”
