He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor Sr. Rudd and Ruby Davis Rudd. He is survived by: his wife Linda Ellen Rudd; his sons, Richard (Linda), Craig (Ruth Jennings) and Tyler (Tina); his brother John Rudd (Eleanor); and his grandchildren, Melanie, Laura, Taylor and Trey.

Memorials may be given to St. Jude's Hospital in Lieu of flowers.
