She was predeceased by: her husband Harold H. Lion; her parents, Rear Admiral Jack and Eva Martin; her siblings, Jack Martin (Sue) and Mary Jane Swaney (Robb); and her stepdaughter Daena Maves.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Feike of Burke, Laura J. Ulmer (Jim) of Frederick and Richard M. Lion of Alexandria; her grandchildren, Robert A. Ulmer (Maggie), Jennifer A. Yang (Ting), Jason Troy (Lyndsay) and Quinn N. Feike (Becca); and her great grandchildren, Ian Keele, Luke, Josha Ulmer, Mia, Molly Yang, Riley Troy and Ruby Feike.
