We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2021, at the age of 83, Ruth Joann Bethea of Springfield, Virginia, born in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rolland Lund and Pearl Lund (Farr); her grandchildren, Ryan Whitmoyer, Br Louis, Brian, Kristin, Diana and Jordan Bethea; her great grandchildren, Natalie and Nathan; her sister Diane McMahon (James); her brother-in-law Richard Essex; her close friend Dan Schwaner; her sister Lois Essex; and her daughter-in-law Kathleen Weston Bethea. She was also cherished by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services are private due to pandemic restrictions.
