He is survived by: his wife Shirley Betsy York of Hillsville; his children, Patrick McGrady (Dawn) and Sheila McGrady Baker (John); his granddaughters, Julie Waiter and Rachel Baker; his sister Rhea Akers; and also Scotch Irish. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
