Lola Richards Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2020, at the age of 95, Lola Richards of Springfield, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence C. Barcus and Florilla Mae Plymale Barcus; her husband Frederick W. Richards; her son Keith Monzell Richards; and her siblings, Addie Jewell, Donna Keesee, Opal Halfhill and Ralph Barcus.

She is survived by: her sons, David Richards (Dannette) of Virginia and Dr. Dana Richards (Nelda) of Virginia; her daughter-in-law Ester Pastera Richards of Virginia, Nine; her grandchildren, Karen Michelle, Jeremiah, Matthew, Paula, Timothy, Kevin, Jennifer, Meredith and Colin; her great grandchildren, Brittany, Chantel, Taylor, Courtney, Madison, Dustin, Austin, Kira, Juliette and Chloe; her great great grandchildren, Lucas, Lola, Alexander and Angelo; and her siblings, Kathryn Costen of Gallipolis, Rebecca Unroe of Gallipolis, Ernestine Mooney of Gallipolis, Ina Belle Sibley of Gallipolis and Ray Barcus of Gallipolis.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lola's memory to the St. Stephens United Methodist Church, 9203 Braddock Road, Burke, VA 22015 or the French Art Colony, 530 First Avenue, Gallipolis, OH 45631.
