Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Shroeder Jr. of Springfield, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 86, on December 14, 2020. He is survived by: his children, John Shroeder (Kathleen) of Springfield, Thomas Shroeder (Tanya) of Salt, Kathryn Rooney (John) and Mark Shroeder (Leanne) of Vienna; his grandchildren, Shane (April), Allison (Derek), Sadie, Jordan, Ben, John Luke and Callie; and his great grandchildren, Harper Marjorie, Maybelle and Dean.
Due to COVID, services are being postponed to a future date when he will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery.
The family will receive sympathies on the Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home web site and any memorial contributions can be made to Shriners Hospitals For Children.
