It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James David McLuckie of Springfield, Virginia, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on November 7, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James McLuckie and Margaret McLuckie (Smith); his brother Andrew; his children, Sgt. John McLuckie (Edie), Margaret Gehlert of Manassas Park, VA and Mary Beth Browne (Christopher) of Fairfax, VA.; his grandchildren, Officer Alexander Gehlert, Adam Gehlert (Elizabeth), Kaelin Campbell (Tyler), Capt Kyle Browne (Chelsea) and Lucas Browne; and also, Bodey, Jake Gehlert, James Gehlert and Nolan Campbell.
The family is hoping to host a Celebration of Life at Greenspring Village when COVID rules allow.
