He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Seamands and Allie Price Seamands; and his siblings, Ruth and Charles. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Collins Seamands (Lorie); and his daughter Catherine Watson of Springfield, VA. He is also survived by three sons; Lieutenant General Thomas (Melissa) of Fort Myer, VA, Maj. (Ret.) Gregory (Tammy) of Enterprise, AL, and Christopher (Nicole) of Alexandria, VA, and eight grandchildren.
