She was predeceased by: her husband Cloyd "Doc" Thompson; her parents, Nelson Reid and Ruth Reid; and her siblings, Stuart Reid, Samuel Reid Sr., Preston Reid, Rebecca Timberlake, Amy White and Sheila Fugett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shannon Bourne (Jeff Fahnestock) and Angela Hatchel (Troy); her siblings, Nelson Reid (Judy), Martha English, Peggy Madison and Crystal Tracy (Tom); her sister-in-law Shirley Reid; her grandchildren, Gabrielle Bourne, Hampton Bourne, Brittany Hatchel, Troy Hatchel Jr., Taylor Hatchel, Hunter Hatchel and Christopher Hatchel; and her great grandchildren, Joshua Hatchel, Brie Carine, Jaxon Hatchel, Brooklyn Hatchel, Danielle Hatchel and Addison Heishman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
