He was predeceased by: his parents, William Watson Joyce Sr. and Lucy Kallam Joyce; his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Colson Joyce; and his sister Anne Jeffries. He is survived by: his daughters, Marilyn LaPrade of Ridgeway and Virginia; his son-in-law Michele Joyce Bryant; his son William "Billy" Joyce, III (Lisa) of Navarre, Florida; his grandchildren, Sarah Elisabeth Lester (Zack) and Shelby Lynn Bryant; his niece Sherlynn Emler of Raleigh; and his nephew Sonny Jeffries of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee.
