We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2021, at the age of 84, Lillian Staples Penn of Spencer, Virginia, born in Henry County, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cannie Staples and Rebecca Cahill Staples; her husband Howard Leon Penn; and her siblings, Catherine Staples Penn, Annie L. Johnson, Virginia S. Taylor, Aloise S. Brown, Irene Penn, Kate Watkins, Jake Staples, Ben Staples, Solomon Staples and Mack Staples.

She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Brim, Coretha Gravely and Deloris "Renae" Penn. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
