He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Chandler Wyatt and James Franklin Fulton; his children, Gary Fulton, Steve Fulton and Donna Jones; his siblings, Jackie Earles and Tony Fulton; and his stepfather Sam Wyatt.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Pruitt Hill; his children, Debbie Foley, John Fulton, Jr. (Kristie), Wendy Patterson, Tammy Allen (Leslie) and Billy Hill; and his siblings, Betty Pruitt (Ray), Patricia Coward (Jerry), Susan Gillispie and Charles Fulton (Tammy). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 17 nieces and nephews.
