It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Anthony Thomas of South Boston, Virginia, who passed away on September 4, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Berkley Thomas and Cathryn Green Thomas; and his siblings, David Thomas and Becky Howerton. He is survived by: his children, Nathan Thomas, Miles Thomas (Hillary) and Beth Thomas Slabach (Corbin); his grandchildren, Katie Ann, Grace Madelyn Thomas and Owen Slabach; his sister Sharon Long (David); his close friend Pat Haley; and also, Beth and Corbin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
