It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye Carol Overbey McGaughey of South Boston, Virginia, born in Nelson, Virginia, who passed away on November 26, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Overbey and Sallie Puryear Overbey. She is survived by: her husband Hal Arthur McGaughey; her children, Lewis Newton, Glenn Newton (Linda), David Newton (Wendy) and Madonna Hall (Ed); her grandchildren, Misty, Adam, Derek, Matthew, Ashley, Jared, Michael, Katlyn, Marc, Walter and Nick; her siblings, Holly Mae Crenshaw, Margie Nelson and Robert Overbey; and also Honduran.
