He is survived by: his wife Helen Ephraim; his sons, Lawrence B. Major and Hamilton R. Major of West Chester, PA; his sisters, Ida Hunt (Willard) of Smithfield, VA and Carleen Lane (Roy) of Surry, VA; and his sister-in-law Elsie Major of Smithfield, VA. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and cherished friends.
