He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert Stallings, Sr. and Sara Boykins Edwards Stallings; and his daughter Sherri Lyn Stallings Woodyard. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lynn Gwaltney Stallings; his daughter Cynthia S. Edwards (Chris); his son-in-law Curtis Woodyard; his grandchildren, Connor, Colin, Amber and Austin; and his brother Michael R. Stallings (Carolyn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
